Rivanna Ridge Soaps

River's Chill Out! Shea Butter & Lavender Essential Oil Soap

Would you like to try a natural way to help your dog deal with anxiety?

This soap is made with shea butter (know for its moisturizing properties) and lavender essential oil - for a wonderful lather and scent that invites relaxation and calm.  Has a stretchy wristband to help you hold on to it in the tub and hang it to dry.  Available in three shapes for your dog - a bone, rectangular with paw prints or round with paw print.   Average weight 3.5-4.5 ounces.  Also available in a 'people' version - check our Soaps For You collection!

This soap was named after River who began her training as a service dog in March of 2013 as an eight week old puppy.  River shows a healthy respect for new situations, often sitting back to assess before jumping in!  This soap celebrates people and dogs like River who may just need to relax a little!

Update - River was released from the program after she developed fear reactivity to some dogs.  Since she still thought she was still a 'working dog' she is now a therapy dog reading with young children at local schools.

Handcrafted using an exceptional base made of coconut, palm and safflower oils, glycerine, shea butter, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, soybean protein, 100% pure lavender essential oil, titanium dioxide, red & black oxide.

A portion of the proceeds from this sale benefits Service Dogs of Virginia.

For external use only!  Some dogs (and people) can experience sensitivity and/or irritation from products used on their skin - if this occurs stop use and consult medical authorities. This soap is scented with essential oil.  Some essential oils should be avoided during pregnancy.

Wonderful handcrafted soaps in fun designs, colors and scents!
